National Culture Days

The National Culture Days (Kulttuuripäivät) will take place on November 25–26, 2025, in Espoo.

The event will bring together approximately 300 cultural sector professionals from across Finland, primarily from municipalities but also from the private sector. Previously known as KUTU-päivät / Cultural Producers’ Days, the event was last held in Jyväskylä in 2023.

The overarching theme of the two-day event is safety and security (TURVA in Finnish). Keynote speeches, workshops, and panel discussions will address topics such as:

– How culture can foster resilience and crisis preparedness
– How municipal cultural services and heritage can be protected amid tightening local government budgets
– The current state of workplace well-being in the cultural sector
– How the sector’s green transition can be supported

The event will be held in Finnish. You can find the detailed programme on the Finnish-language page. Tickets are available via this link.

This year, the event is organized by the City of Espoo, the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities, the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike), TAKU ry, the Regional Council of Uusimaa, and the Producer Center Living Lab project.
