Karin Närep (keynote)

Head of Strategic Planning and Crises Preparedness, Viron kulttuuriministeriö

Karin Närep works as a Head of Strategic Planning and Crises Preparedness in the Ministry of Culture of Estonia. Her main tasks are the co-ordination of the strategic management – planning and reporting in the field of cultural policy. Karin has over 20 years experience both in central and local government level with strategic planning, service design, development projects and communication management. Since 2024 Karin has a task to co-ordinate all the planning and activities of the Ministry of Culture concerning state defence tasks, including both long-term and short-term defence task planning.
